One Inspiration Builds on Another

The future of the advanced biofuels industry will be built on the success of the ethanol industry. Gevo’s strategy of retrofitting ethanol plants to make isobutanol, a second-generation biofuel, is evidence of our strong link with the ethanol industry. We work with the ethanol industry and actively participate in industry councils such as the Renewable Fuels Association and Growth Energy. We also work closely with corn growers’ associations at the national and state levels.

We understand that our success depends on the continued success of the ethanol industry. We believe retrofitting some of the existing ethanol production capacity to make a drop-in molecule will enhance the ethanol industry’s reputation and expand its potential considerably.
