Instructions for Authorized Use

The official Gevo and Gevo Development logos should be reproduced from an authorized electronic file. You can download all the official files below.

For consistency, the logos should not be redrawn, re-proportioned, repositioned, reset in a different typeface, drawn freehand or modified in any manner. Please do not copy and paste any parts of the low-resolution logo graphics shown here.

Preferred Usage

The color versions of the Gevo and Gevo Development logos are preferred and should be used whenever materials are printed in two or more colors. When this is not possible, the logos should be entirely black.

Improper Use
  • Do not create your own logo using a similar font or “logo-ize” what is not already a logo.
  • Logos can be used as page or paragraph headers, but should never be used in free-flowing body copy.

Relationship to Background

The logos should appear on a non-patterned background to ensure their visibility. If the logos must be displayed on a photograph or illustration, place the logos where the background is as plain as possible, so they clearly stand out. The logos should not be used near an area with a pattern that might impair the logos' visibility or distort their appearance.

Dimensions

When you resize the logos you must constrain the dimensions so they do not become distorted. To ensure the logos can be seen clearly, please do not use a Gevo logo smaller than 36 pixels in height and 100 pixels in width, or use a Gevo Development logo that is smaller than 36 pixels in height and 127 pixels in width.

Staging

Please allow an amount of space between the logo and other elements, including type, illustrative material, borders and the edge of the page, as shown in the example below:
